Trader Joe’s Haulin’.

Hi, my name is Lucia, and I have an obsessive personality. When I love something, I REALLY love something. Of course, you guys probably already know this about me because you read my babbles on the interwebs regularly (thank you) and it might be obvious that I get ridiculously excited & enthusiastic about many things (sorry/not sorry).

Obsessive Manifestation Example A . Hmm. What’s a good one…let’s see…TRADER JOE’S. As if I haven’t already talked about how fabulous it is. There’s just so many exciting foods and the people that work there are so kind and it just gives me the warm fuzzies. I still remember the first time I visited a TJ’s store. My dad and I were driving through Milwaukee and we stopped to grab some snacks and I was like UMMMMM WHAT IS THIS COOL PLACE?! I’ve been hooked ever since, but unfortunately I’ve found myself always living somewhere far away from the nearest one. Here in Utah I’m closer than I’ve ever been, but it’s still a bit of a drive, and too out of the way to go regularly. (That’s probably good for my wallet though?? ?) Anyway, we drove an hour through some ridiculous traffic to go shopping at TJ’s because I was experiencing withdrawals. Thank goodness for a patient husband who was willing to do that for me! Ha. Love you, Brig!

And now I’m sharing my steals with you all, some of which I’ve already tried & loved, and others that are new to me & can’t wait to try!! Here goes:

^^ Starting with the classics! One does not simply walk into a Trader Joe’s and not get some sort of Speculoos item. Simply the best. My favorite cookie butter is the crunchy one, and those cookie butter cups? They kill me. So good. ^^

PS Next time you’re at TJ’s, you should buy 2 jars of cookie butter and use one of them for these blondies!

^^ I LOVE freeze-dried fruit! Those banana slices are one of my favorite snacks in the whole world. Thanks to my sister-in-law, Charity, for introducing them to me! She loves Trader Joe’s a whole lot, too. ^^

^^ This salad mix. SO MUCH TEXTURE AND CRUNCH!! Definitely massage the dressing in – work it real good. I especially love it with TJ’s Cranberry Walnut Gorgonzola dressing, which you’ll see a bit down the line. ^^

^^ Fabulous snacks. So addicting. I ate almost an entire bag of that popcorn when Brig and I drove from San Francisco to Provo. Oops? ^^

^^ I haven’t tried this salad mix before but I am SO excited to! Doesn’t it sound delicious?! Just hand me harvest/autumn everything and no one will get hurt. ^^

^^ Best. Apple. Juice. EVER. Brig & I can’t get enough of this stuff. ^^

^^ So excited to try this pappardelle – ugh, I just love pasta. I’m thinking I’ll dress it with some butter or olive oil, fresh lemon juice, salt, red pepper flakes, and BURRATA (you’ll see that somewhere below.) I think that combo sounds like absolute heaven. ^^

^^ I’ve never tried puttanesca sauce before so I’m excited to see what it’s like! Puttanesca is also a sort of inside joke between Brig and I, so I just had to get it. I’ve heard really great things about TJ’s thai red curry sauce, so I can’t wait to try that, too! I think I’ll make a batch of jasmine rice and drown some chicken in that sauce. Mmm. Yes. YUM. ^^

^^ I really super duper love root veggies and I thought these looked so yummy! They’re gonna be a win. I can feel it. ^^

^^ I’ve tried their salted almond butter and honestly wasn’t the biggest fan (which I HATE admitting because when I love something, I hate admitting its flaws – does anyone else do that with things/people/places??), so I’m trying the unsalted this time around. I LOVE these butters & can’t wait to try the pepper jelly. Morning toast, anyone? ^^

^^ Only my favorite thing in the whole entire world. Burrata is cheese filled with happiness. Life doesn’t get better than that. ^^

^^ Apparently I had to include the cookie butter in here twice…haha! I did only get one jar – self control is important ? I really love TJ’s coconut cream, it’s the best I’ve been able to find. And fleur de sel! Can’t wait to sprinkle that on absolutely everything. First order of business: salted chocolate chip cookies. ^^

^^ Friends, some fancy grilled cheeses are in order. I’m thinking challah, fig butter, brie, apple, and turkey. Amen and hallelujah. ^^

^^ One of my absolutely favorite salad dressings ever & a salsa I am so excited to dunk the sweet potato tortilla chips in! It sounds so delicious and as we all know, I’m a sucker for all things “harvest” and “autumn” and “fall.” ? ^^

Hope you guys enjoyed this post today! Let me know what you think of the haul & if there’s any TJ treasures I missed! There’s so many wonderful foods to try in that store that I don’t think I could get through it all in a lifetime. But I’m sure as heck gonna try! ?

xo, Lucia
