The Wrights Take London: Days 10 & 11

Day 10 we ventured back out into the big city!! We went to the Tower of London a second time around with the family. It was a super sunny day in London and so it was fun seeing things in a different light literally haha! We had so much fun exploring London with my family.

We met up with Ian and Charity that afternoon and they took Brig and I to Fortnum and Mason, the dreamiest of stores. They have everything from clothing and dishware to house items and specialty jams. We made a beeline for their tearoom and Ian and Charity treated us to the most INCREDIBLE scones of life + clotted cream, mint sodas, and a spicy chocolate & salted caramel shake. It was really fun seeing Ian and Charity one last time, we miss them so much!

AND THEN.

Day 11. Duh duh duh…I was bedridden, struck by the most horrible flu-ish cold to have ever hit mankind! Okay, that’s dramatic, but seriously. I was SO sick. I wasn’t feeling the greatest on Day 10 but I just powered through it, and then the next day I sure paid the price haha! (But it was worth it 🙂 ) I spent the entire day in bed blowing my nose and sleeping and to be honest it totally sucked. Luckily we didn’t have much planned for that day otherwise I would have been so mad. I was sick and in ENGLAND and combining those two was not part of my plans! I like for life to go according to my plans. But taking an entire day to rest was super worth it.

xo, Lucia

Oh no, I’m so sad you got sick!! I guess the only good part was that it was towards the end of your trip. What an incredible 2 weeks, though!!! I had SO much fun reading this 🙂
