I just thought I’d share some (A LOT) of photos from the past week. I went back home for my best friend Annie’s wedding and then a couple nights ago we drove up AF Canyon to spend some time with Brig’s extended family, so here we go!
^^This is the Midwest in one picture! Haha.^^
Annie got married in the middle of the woods in the middle of nowhere in North Dakota and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The woods were located on land owned by the sweetest family and there were so many cute little barns and woodsheds! I just had to snap some photos. And an awkward selfie, of course.
^^ This is a panorama shot of the clearing where the ceremony would take place that I took the night before the wedding. The photo doesn’t even begin to do this gorgeous little spot justice, but hopefully you get an idea of how cozy and beautiful it was in the morning light! ^^
^^ The wedding was very small, making it all the more intimate, cozy, and special. It was simply perfect. The ceremony was followed by the most lovely brunch reception – I wish I could have taken more pictures of everything but unfortunately I didn’t have my camera out most of the time. Isn’t Annie absolutely beautiful? She is one of the kindest, sweetest, and most godly women I know. Her husband sure got a good one! ^^
^^After the wedding, I got to spend the whole afternoon with my mama and little brother and soaked up each moment I had with them! Except for the part where I took a 3 hour nap because I had woken up at 3:45 am that day (after going to bed at 1 am) ?
We got sushi at my favoritest place, Osaka, (the naked girl roll is the best!!), followed by ice cream at the beloved Moorhead DQ, and then finished the evening with a movie, looking through old family photo albums, and visiting with my grandparents.
I wish I could have spent more time back home, but with school, work, & missing Brig like crazy, I had to get back to Provo! ^^
A couple nights ago, Brig and I drove up the canyon to spend some time with his extended family whom we love ever so dearly! We always have so much fun. We ate the most delicious donuts, roasted marshmallows, and were in awe at the beautiful mountain surroundings. The leaves are just starting to turn and it’s so so pretty!
All in all, life right now is good! Very crazy busy, but we’re happy. Why? Because we find the happy in the little things. It’s the only way to make it through life sane, I think 🙂
