Welcome to The Foodwright, a food blog! My name is Lucia. This is a space to share my very own recipes and life tidbits with you and I really, really love it.
So…I eat everything. If you glance through the blog archives, you’ll notice that for the first couple years of my blog, there’s a whole lot of dessert! After the birth of my daughter, Sophia, I decided to make a pretty dramatic shift towards the health & wellness side of things, which is why most all of the recipes from June 2017 on have a healthier focus. I am SO passionate about good nutrition & health. That being said, I believe in leading a life of balance and moderation – there is room for kale AND chocolate (though maybe not together? 😉 ) I have an irrational love for all things breakfast and watermelon is really very close to being my favorite thing in the whole world.
I choose to buy organic whenever possible, but also believe strongly in ice cream. I really love salad and smoothies, but also make pizza every week. It’s just a balancing act over here, every day! We don’t subscribe to any one diet and no foods are off limits. One thing I can promise you: every recipe I create for you on this site I LOVE with my whole heart – I will never post a recipe just for the sake of posting, and I ALWAYS want you to find success – no one wants to waste time, money, or food in the kitchen!
